Agenda

11:00 AM: WDBA Board of Governors Meeting 

The Annual Meeting will begin at the Madison Public Library (Central Branch) at 11:00 AM, with the WDBA Board of Governors’ Annual Meeting. This is optional for WDBA members, but open to those who wish to attend.

11:30 AM: Registration and Lunch Service

Please plan to arrive at 11:30 AM to check in and enjoy lunch, catered by Banzo. Chicken and vegetarian options will be available.

12:00 PM: Judge Peterson’s Remarks and Professor Seifter’s Keynote Speech

Judge Peterson will open with brief remarks at 12:00 PM.

Our keynote speaker, Miriam Seifter, will then present on The Law of Democracy in State and Federal Courts. Professor Seifter is a Professor of Law, Co-Director of the State Democracy Research Initiative, and Rowe Faculty Fellow in Regulatory Law at the University of Wisconsin Law School.

Registration

The Annual Conference is free for members and includes attendance of the CLE Program. Guests can register and attend the CLE Program for $50. You may order lunch for an additional $35, due with your registration

In order to register for the Annual Meeting as a member, you must join or renew your membership for the 2023-2024 membership year. You will have a chance to pay for your membership dues during the online registration process (begin below).
